Emotional Literacy Support Assistant Training - Wellbeing for Education Return

What does the training involve?

Emotional Literacy Support Assistant Training aims to support teaching assistants to build upon their existing knowledge and skills to fulfil their role as an ELSA. An ELSA's role is to support children and young people in school to understand and regulate their own emotions, whilst also respecting the feelings of those around them. ELSA is an initiative developed by educational psychologists, who apply their professional knowledge of children's social and emotional development to areas of need experienced by pupils.
