Caterpillars and Bumblebees room
This room accommodates children from birth to two years of age and we can have a maximum of 30 children
These rooms accommodate children from birth to two years of age and we can have a maximum of 30 children.
For our youngest children, we ensure there is a calm environment following your baby's routine as much as possible. We work with parents to meet each individual child's needs to ensure a seamless transition between home and nursery life.
For our older children, our rooms give them the opportunity for exploration and play whilst still following routines. We encourage children to learn whilst they play and work with each child to ensure they have the best possible time here at Freshlings.
Dragonflies room
Our Dragonflies room strives to give your children more independence whilst still supporting their personal, social and emotional development
Our 2-year-old room strives to give your children more independence whilst still supporting their personal, social and emotional development.
This room has the capacity for 24 children, with the space for either full day care or sessional care. The children are given free access to the resources provided for them but also have an element of structure within their day with planned circle times where they will all come together for a story or song time.
Ladybird room
Our ladybird room supports children aged 3 and over. Our ladybird room can hold 32 children
The room enables children a free choice as well as structured activities to support their development and independence and our highly skilled team of workers with each child to create a fantastic environment for them.
Children are consulted on changes and their voice is heard which enables them to feel valued and have ownership of their room which is very important for their own personal growth.
Outdoors
Our spacious garden is located underneath the nursery rooms, providing an all-weather outdoor environment for the children to use
The space is accessible throughout the day and children are given free access to the resources. We ensure that the children can both learn and take risks in a controlled, safe environment and provide them with an area to be both physical and imaginative in their play.
This space contains a variety of natural objects such as tree trunks and sand and is designed to engage children as much as possible. In addition, a cohort of architecture students conceptualised, designed and constructed an interactive outside area in the adjacent space.
