Honeyshute Day Nursery and Pre-School

We have access to an enclosed outdoor play area with a lovely open view of the village and inside the preschool has been purposely designed and newly refurbished to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for your child.

We aim to give your child a rich and varied experience during their time with us. We recognise that every child is an individual and has their own learning style, personality and talents and our goal is to ensure that all the children in our care are happy, safe and stimulated.

Our nurseries

Eggbuckland Nursery

Our original Eggbuckland site opened in 2012 and provides quality care and Education for children from 2.5 to 5 years. 

We are a feeder setting for Eggbuckland Vale, St Edwards, Widey and Austin Farm Primary Schools.

Eggbuckland Baby Unit​

Based next to our Preschool, our baby unit provides specialist care and education for children under 3 years of age.

Thornbury Preschool and Nursery

Based within the Thornbury Primary School site and offering quality care and education to the wider community for children from 2 to 5 years.

Austin Farm Preschool

Based within the site of Austin Farm primary school and providing quality care and education  to children aged 2-5 years during the school term.

Our Philosophy

It is our belief that every child should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential by learning and developing at their own pace.  We believe that stimulating surroundings and a wide variety of experiences combined with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff will give every child the chance to learn and grow in all aspects of their development.

By using the Early Years Foundation stage as a base to build on we aim to give every child a rewarding and enjoyable journey that will more than prepare them for Reception Class.
