The Focus Training Group's vision is to be the leading electrical training provider in the South West through the excellence of its performance.

Devon & Cornwall Electrical Training (DCET Training) is now part of The Focus Training Group and was founded in 1995. As a specialist in electrical training, we have a long-established reputation with employers nationwide, and with a keen interest in always delivering excellence through best practices, we enjoy consistent repeat business from a portfolio of loyal clients who regard us as a trusted provider.

Our facilities in Exeter, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and Redruth are 'state of the art' and offer learners opportunities to explore, learn and apply all aspects of the industry in an ambient, controlled environment, under the tutelage of highly experienced, dedicated staff. The wide range of electrical courses can be delivered at any of our centres or on site at a location suitable to the employer.

Electrical courses can be delivered at any three of our centres or at a location suitable to the employer. The qualification success rates both in apprenticeships and all other qualifications, particularly electrical, are consistently above the national average. Focus / DCET Training, a member of the ECA, is a registered Training Provider for the City Guilds, EAL, NICEIC, ECS, and is a licensed NET AM2 centre. We are accredited with Investors in People and the matrix standard.

We offer flexible and professional training at reasonable prices. We also access Government funding to provide free or reduced cost training whenever possible, and can help whether you are currently in employment, or are seeking work.
