Welcome to Woodford Primary School.
We are proud of our school, our children's positive attitudes to learning, and the commitment of our staff to providing the best education for every child.
Our extensive school site offers a wide variety of learning environments; large, bright classrooms; shared learning spaces; 2 libraries; 2 computer suites; a music room; 4 playgrounds; an outdoor amphitheatre, a woodland area, and a large school field. Within our site are the community services of Willow Child Care Centre (nursery and after-school/holiday care), Plumtree Children's Centre, and the Plews Scout Centre.
We are extremely proud of Woodford Primary School and the dedicated and skilled staff who focus on the needs of each child, ensuring they feel confident, happy, safe and well equipped both academically and in life skills for their future educational and life challenges. Our children are our greatest ambassadors. Their high standards of behaviour, positive attitudes to learning, and all round achievements are a credit to the school and the result of the close working partnership we have with parents.
We foster a caring ethos and have 3 main rules: respect for ourselves, respect for others, and respect for our environment. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects staff, volunteers, and parents to share this commitment.
