CAFCASS represents children in family court cases. We are independent of the courts, social services, education and health authorities and all similar agencies.
The Prisoners' Families Helpline can support you if you have a family member who is in contact with the criminal justice system in England and Wales. We provide advice and information on all aspects of the justice system, from what happens when a loved one is arrested, to visiting a prison, to preparing for release.
Barnardo's are commissioned by Plymouth City Council to deliver an advocacy and independent visitor service to children and young people across the city.

Choices Consultancy Service (Choices) is a not-for-profit voluntary-run organisation that delivers family services in three Southwest Prisons: HMP Dartmoor, HMP Channings Wood and HMP/YOI Exeter. We assist offenders and their families through difficulties that may be incurred during their involvement in the criminal justice system.
We help ensure parents with a learning disability are supported through challenging processes regarding their children; ensuring that they understand information, feel able to express their own views, are able to access appropriate support, and that they receive a fair assessment.
Family Matters is a family therapy charity aims to support and help families who may be experiencing difficulties with close relationships or demonstrating hurtful or harmful behaviour.
