The Mix
The Mix provides a free, confidential helpline that gives young people in difficult situations the support and information they need to decide what they want to happen next. It could be anything from a listening ear to somewhere safe to stay for the night.
The Mix is for young people who know they need help but don't know where to find it. They can talk to us by phone, email and webchat any day of the year.

We provide a UK wide helpline for young people up to the age of 24. The service operates over four channels: Telephone, Email, Webchat and SMS, along with an interactive online database, Webhelp 24/7, which is available on our website.
The Mix helpline offers a confidential service, giving young people emotional support and access to specialist organisations that might be able to help them further. Free telephone connections to other organisations can be made when appropriate.
The aim of The Mix is to make sure that every young person in the UK has access to the help and support they need. We deal with any issue that may be affecting a young person and offer user-led, non-judgemental support. We do not give advice or counselling but we do try to find appropriate services that meet service users' needs.
Our helpline can be called for free on 0808 808 4994 and is open every day from 1pm - 11pm.
Our website is accessible by visiting http://www.themix.org.uk where our Webchat channel can also be accessed.
