If you need support with your heating or energy bills and are struggling with the cost of living, the following services and organisations might be able to assist you.
Remember - if you are struggling, you are not alone and there is no shame in asking for help. Everyone needs a little bit of extra support at some point in their lives.

Plymouth Energy Community
The Future Fit programme, a partnership between us and the Plymouth Energy Community (PEC), will see £4 million of government funding distributed to up to 300 eligible homes in the city.
The money will be spent on improvements such as wall, floor and loft insulation; getting rid of draughts; help with heating controls; installing solar panels and replacing off-the-grid gas heating systems.

Age UK Plymouth
Age UK Plymouth are assisting individuals of pension age (50+ in some circumstances) struggling on low incomes, by offering support, along with other measures to assist with energy efficiency such as:
- Practical energy saving items, for example clothes airers
- Provision of white goods where an item is defective or missing, for example boilers, washing machines and fridges
- Food vouchers for individuals struggling with meeting the cost of food
Age UK Plymouth accepts both referrals from other organisations and self-referrals, with priority given to:
- Individuals in receipt of a disability benefit and/or suffering with a long term illness/disability
- Individuals in receipt of Pension Credit

You can get help if you're struggling to afford your energy bills or top up your prepayment meter. You might be able to take advantage of certain benefits, grants and help offered by the government and energy suppliers.
