The Sunflower Women's Centre is a women's only outreach centre set up by Trevi.
Women can receive support in addressing and resolving substance abuse, childhood trauma, criminogenic behaviours, domestic violence, or poor mental health.
We offer a range of therapeutic activities, training programmes, and practical support in a safe, nurturing, substance-free, and valuing space for women to move from their pasts, develop their skills, regain their self-worth, and go on to flourish and thrive.
Located on Sutherland Road, between Mutley Plain and the University of Plymouth, The Sunflower Women's Centre offers women the following therapeutic programmes:
- Making Connections: Therapeutic Arts and Crafts
- Survive
- Warrior Women: Building Resilience and Strength
- Solihull Parenting: Supporting parent and child relationships
- Bloom: Creating healthy meals on a budget
- Freedom Programme
- 18-25's meet-ups
- Self Care
- Heal
- Own my life
- PATH: Psychological Advocacy Towards Healing
- Employment support with DWP
- Pause Plymouth
- Parenting and access to childcare
Connecting with services in the community, Sunflower aspires to be a stepping stone to independence and full-living. It offers women a space to breathe, belong, and gain skills, confidence, and self-care to move on in their lives.
