Thornbury Villa is committed to providing Person Centred Personal Care with the consent and agreement of the resident and their family in a dignified, discreet and sympathetic manner.

Support is provided to enable each resident to make their own decisions regarding their own health care needs, under the guidance or the G.P. and Community Nursing Service.

Whilst Thornbury Villa provide care to residents who require low levels of nursing care, we firmly believe that the short term needs for persons recovering from an illness,operation or who are terminally ill should be met within their home an environment with which they are familiar.

Thornbury Villa delivers care with the support from the necessary temporary specialist services as required. Nursing supervision is provided by the local Community Nursing Service via the residents G.P.
