Honeybourne House is registered with CQC for 21 residents to support people who require nursing or personal care including Treatment Disease Disorder and Injury (TDDI) Honeybourne is split into two sections. The House and the Bungalow.

Honeybourne House and the Bungalow are situated close to shops and are on a local bus route to the town centre and other close amenities. There is also access to the homes transport where you will be supported by staff to access community activities.

We are 2.5 miles to Derriford Hospital.

The on site sensory room provides overhead hoisting allowing each service user where required to be hoisted onto a bean bag or other soft furnishings. The room offers many different types of sensory equipment which can be used and tailored to the individual's likes and dislikes.

We have regular visits from a chiropodist and annual visits from a local optician offering in house optical care. The Home's working relationship with local health professionals, including regularly GP visits forms a consistent and competent approach to individual healthcare. Honeybourne House

The house offers 12 bedrooms each equipped with personal washing facilities. 2 bedrooms on the downstairs level and the wet room each have overhead tracking to assist hoisting when required. Each bedroom can be decorated to the individual's request and we aim for a homely environment with their personal belongings.Th ere is a stair lift in situ giving access to the first floor and upper bedrooms, quite lounge and a manager's office can be accessed.

Trained staff are available over a 24-hr period who will support with each service users individual assessed needs. There is a cook who prepares meals according to the menu. If service users have specialised requirements or wish something different these requests are catered for. Service users are encouraged to use the kitchen to enable them maintain their personal independence.

Honeybourne Bungalow The Bungalow has a 24-hr onsite nursing to support with a fully trained staff team who support each service user according to their needs. There are 8 bedrooms each complete with overhead hoist and a shower en-suite. Each bedroom can be decorated to the individuals requests and we aim for a homely environment to include their personal belongings.The Bungalow backs onto a sensory garden which is shaded by surrounded woodland area giving a pleasant, peaceful seating area. The Bungalow also has access to the large decking area which runs alongside the sensory room.
