We welcome family and visitors throughout the day to help our residents feel relaxed and have a variety of activities for them to enjoy. We also provide friendly day club facilities for people in the community wishing to join in our social activities.
Our home has recently been renovated to provide new rooms and facilities for our residents, including a hair salon and areas to enjoy in the gardens. We keep our home clean and tidy to a maximum standard at all times, while also providing excellent care by our many trained nurses and carers. We also have an on-site maintenance engineer to repair any damages, or replace any fixtures when our residents may require.
We have our own expert inhouse chefs, serving 3 meals daily to all residents with meal choices available, these may be hot or cold meals depending on the choice. Our carers are able to assist with feeding if the resident should require this. Please contact us directly for more information on the food we provide and assistance available, or if you are concerned about allergies.

Activities
Colebrook Manor recognises that activities is an essential part of residents' daily care and that physical and mental stimulation is important for everyone's well-being. That is why we invest in and employ an in-house activities coordinator to provide a wide range of daily activity programmes, including a comprehensive schedule of visiting entertainment and regular trips out, to suit all ages, abilities and interests. All residents are encouraged to participate wherever possible and we respect their preferences and wishes. Many are able to rekindle old hobbies or discover new ones.
Day clubs
Colebrook Manor provides a day club service which offers companionship with like-minded people, stimulating activities including trips out, healthy meals and all refreshments and access and full use of all our facilities, including all lounges, dining rooms, gardens and patios and our hairdresser. (Please note this is not a care facility).
Respite
We recognise being a full-time carer for a family member can be a tough job and believe you regularly need a break. Our respite care is delivered by highly skilled nurses and carers and you go away assured that your family member is being well looked after whilst you are away.
Alternatively, you may require care following an illness or an operation and need 24 hour care and support to help you make that full recovery before going back home. We can offer a safe and friendly atmosphere, offer you rest, healthy meals and access to all our facilities to help you get back on your feet.
