Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship is a real job with training which allows you to earn while you learn, whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with the potential to gain full-time employment or progression to a higher level apprenticeship after you have completed your qualification.
The council regularly have exciting apprenticeship opportunities in different departments. Most apprenticeships usually start at NVQ2, although in some cases the apprenticeship can be extended to cover NVQ3 and NVQ4.
