Why we want you

Being our local voice in your community, the talks you give will help us raise awareness of the work of Save the Children both in the UK and around the world. You'll be making links in the local community as only someone who's part of it can, offering to speak as well as responding to requests from local adult groups.

  • Feed back information to Save the Children on talks given and contacts made
  • Keeping up to date with information on Save the Children and resources for speakers
  • Give talks to a wide range of local adult groups in your community which have asked for one
  • Make links with local adult groups in your community to offer talks to

The skills you need

  • Open and friendly with a wide range of people
  • Confident speaking in front of large groups
  • Keen to learn about Save the Children's work
  • Infectious enthusiasm
  • Able to organise and manage own talks

What's in it for you
