"It helps to know I am not the only one"
Be in a group of like-minded people who would not judge but would be honest, understanding and supportive at the same time.
Groups give people learning points of how to manage daily life when having to cope with addictive behaviours related for example to using drugs/alcohol.
Relapse Prevention Workshops are facilitated groups, structured and interactive and designed to help with preventing people from turning back to their addictive behaviours i.e. drugs/alcohol.
You learn more about how to; manage cravings, recognise and manage high risk situations and patterns of thinking and behaviour that may lead up to start using alcohol or drugs again. We help develop relapse prevention strategies and planning.
The group facilitators role is to help people explore and share what works, what helps people make changes and maintain those changes and how to recover in case of a lapse.
