Mill Ford Community Special School

Mill Ford is a school for children and young adults with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, including pupils with complex medical needs and autistic spectrum conditions.

Safeguarding children and young people is paramount in all we do, so that children and young people can learn and thrive in a safe environment.

Mill Ford is a friendly, child-centered school that offers a broad and balanced National Curriculum.

We place a strong emphasis on developing student's communication, social skills, physical development and independence in a nurturing environment, where pupils feel able to take risks.

Mill Ford is part of the The Quay Partnership, which offers outreach support for schools and families with children and young people who have additional needs.  The Quay Partnership also include Brook Green, Longcause, Mount Tamar and Woodlands schools.
