Books on Prescription

Reading Well

Reading Well Books on Prescription helps you to understand and manage your health and wellbeing using self-help reading.

Local health practitioners can 'prescribe' a book from an approved list or you can self-prescribe and borrow the titles that you think will help you.

If the book isn't available, you can reserve a copy online for free and have it sent to your local library.

Dementia

Reading Well Books on Prescription for dementia recommends books you might find helpful if you have dementia, are caring for someone with dementia or would like to find out more about the condition.

Shelf help
