This service provides:
- Providing advice and advocacy on the skills needed to support sustained employment. Focuses on increasing confidence, resilience and self esteem through employment, work experience, volunteering, educational opportunities and qualifications.
- Supporting the move in to sustainable independent employment. Access to work placements, volunteering and accredited training. Individual support in developing functional work skills.
- Supporting development of work skills via opportunities for on the job training, work placements, job tasters, and vocational work. Guidance on appropriate behaviour in the workplace and interviews. Supporting the transition from education in to employment, reducing the risk of exclusion.
- Supporting parents, carers and families in the community and in diverse cultural circumstances. Guidance and advice aimed at supporting vulnerable children and their families.
