Beat (Beating Eating disorders)

Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our vision is an end to the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders.

Beat run a number of support services that can be beneficial to both people suffering from eating disorders and those that care for others who do. They are not intended as a replacement for professional treatment but they can provide a space in which people can begin to feel more comfortable talking about what they are experiencing with others who are going through similar things and who will be able to offer understanding and support.

Beat is a national charity and so these services are open to anyone, irrespective of locality.

Our youth services are open to anybody that is aged 25 or under. You do not need a diagnosis to access Beat’s support services and they are open to people at all stages of recovery.

For more information about Beat, and how we can help you, please view our website and contact us.
