Supporting your child at home
Children can develop and achieve more when their family and friends take an interest in their setting, school and schoolwork.
Getting involved in your child's education, even in the simplest way can have a big impact. Often, the more supported a child feels at home, the more effectively she or he will learn at school.
Having a young family can be a demanding time. And if other things come along too - bereavements, illness, depression, addiction, job loss or other misfortunes, life can get unbearable for you. During these hard times, your children can miss out too.
Asking for help is one of the strongest things you can do.
