As part of the Every Player Counts programme funded by Wembley National Stadium Trust, we provide courses and programmes for a wide range of disabilities. Through the project, we aim to improve accessibility, barriers to participation and provide fun, progressive and some competitive programmes for people with disabilities.

We have a number of teams competing in the Ability Counts League for footballers with PAN disabilities. The Trust is also working with a number of partners to increase mental health football, disability-specific teams, such as a deaf football club.
Short Breaks - Sessions for young people with a disability
The Community Trust delivers Short Break sessions for young people with a disability throughout the summer holidays.Short Breaks involve fun-filled football sessions, stadium tours, smoothie making, table tennis, Wii Fit activities, games consoles and many more fun activities.
Working closely in partnership with Plymouth City Council, the Trust aims to give carers respite but to also offer new opportunities to young people they may never have experienced in the past.Each day sees the youngsters taking part in fun-filled sport sessions, aimed at improving their basic skills whilst making new friends.
The courses, full of mini-games and technique workshops, sees each participant work with Argyle coaches, giving them a unique experience of what it is like to be a professional 'Pilgrim'.To compliment practical sports sessions, each participant takes part in exciting workshops aimed at improving their understanding of both the game, as well as the importance of leading a healthy, active lifestyle. Skills that will be introduced include smoothie making classes, kit design and basic first aid tips.

Down's Syndrome Football
Argyle Community Trust is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new football programme dedicated to children aged from 4-16 years with Down's Syndrome.
Our experienced coaches will provide a safe, fun and engaging environment for participants to enjoy the beautiful game. Sessions will be held at the Goals Soccer Centre, next to Plymouth Argyle FC.

Every player counts
Through the Every Player Counts programme our aim is to increase participation levels for all. The trust is working with all SEN schools in Plymouth and support organisations to help increase activities for all.
We have recently introduced dedicated football roadshows or players with disabilities during the school holidays, as well as specific monthly sessions for Down's Syndrome footballers. Active Argyle programmes are open to people with any disability or learning difficulty that would like to be involved in sport and involves several different sports and activities.
