Amped Music Therapy
Music therapy is an evidence based intervention which uses music to improve effective communication, explore behaviour patterns, reach developmental goals, express emotions, physical and cognitive rehabilitation and bring people together.
Amped Music Therapy is a service offering individualised one to one and group music therapy sessions.
Specialising in autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, communication disorders, brain injury and mental health, Amped wants to promote positive health and wellbeing for individuals, families and carers through making music.
Elise is a HCPC registered music therapist with a passion for group music playing, songwriting, and music technology.
After an initial consultation and assessment, Elise develops a personalised set of goals in the areas of communication, sensory processing, fine and gross motor movement, cognitive function and development, focus and attention, social interaction and the big one - self-identity and self-expression.
Sessions are for any age and revolve around the values of integrity, connection, progression and most of all fun!
